Nico Hulkenberg secured a spot among the top ten fastest in both the first and second free practice sessions for the Monaco GP this Friday (5). The German finished TL1 in seventh place and was eighth in the second activity of the day, which was used by Audi to better understand the car’s behavior on one of the most challenging circuits on the Formula 1 calendar.

Despite the unique characteristics of the Monegasque track, Hulkenberg reported positive evolution in the car’s balance, but emphasized the importance of analysis work before qualifying:
“It was a pretty reasonable Friday for us. That said, everyone will be working hard overnight to find improvements, so we need to make sure we analyze everything we did today and put the best possible package on track tomorrow. Qualifying is obviously very important here, but there are still many aspects for us to get right throughout the weekend. The focus now is to stay calm, do our homework and ensure we are ready to make the most of the opportunities tomorrow.”
