Kimi Antonelli showed total confidence for the return of the Formula 1 season in Miami. The driver has already stated feeling “stronger” after a very competitive start to the championship.

In the first three stages of the year, the Italian not only achieved two victories but also reached the podium in second place. With this, he took the lead in the championship with a 22-point advantage and is the youngest leader in the history of the category.
So, for the Miami stage taking place this weekend, which also serves as the stage for the second Sprint of 2026, Antonelli has already issued a warning statement to his rivals.
“The goal, already for Miami, is to return to the point where we stopped in Japan, or even come back stronger. Overall, I feel stronger. I feel I have more control of the situation. Having competed on all the tracks last year is definitely helping me this year so far,” he said.

“Also, having participated in the race weekend helps because I know better what to expect. I know better how to move, how to control myself during the weekend. Definitely, last year’s experience is playing a key role this year so far,” he continued.
“I feel more relaxed, more confident and, as I said before, with more control of the situation,” he concluded.
