Ferrari confirmed on Wednesday (3), on the eve of the Monaco GP weekend of Formula 1, the contract renewal of Charles Leclerc for several years. After the official announcement, the driver shared an emotional message on social media, in which he reflected on his journey with the team and reaffirmed his determination to help the team return to the top of the category.

“When I joined Ferrari, I was a boy living a dream. Like so many drivers before me, I grew up knowing that Ferrari was something bigger. Something bigger. Not just a symbol. It is a passion that I felt long before even getting close to a red racing suit. When there is something you love and dream about, day and night, and it becomes reality, it can’t just mean racing, it means family. And incredibly, over the last ten years, that is exactly what it has become,” Leclerc began in the letter.
“Together, we have lived some of the most exciting moments of my life. Victories I will never forget and difficult moments that hurt deeply. And maybe that is exactly what makes this bond so special. I know people will always question their decisions in Formula 1. But when it came to this, for me, the answer was always clear. Because I believe in this bond with all my heart. In what this team represents, far beyond racing. And I believe that loyalty and trust… absolutely matter!”
For the driver, the renewal represents not only a commitment to the future but also a celebration of everything that has been built alongside Ferrari so far: “In a world where everything moves fast, these values mean even more to me today. This renewal is not just about the future. It is also about everything we have already experienced together and the legacy we continue to carry. Being a Ferrari driver is a privilege and a responsibility that I never take for granted.
