The second stage of NASCAR Brazil promises new challenges at the Autódromo Zilmar Beux, in Cascavel, bringing high expectations from drivers Tata Calderón and Bruna Tomaselli after the opening stage in Santa Cruz do Sul. With the first points earned this season, the duo arrives focused on the car’s development and the pursuit of more significant results.

Colombian Tata Calderón highlighted the symbolic weight of the race, held on May 1st, a date that marks the death of Ayrton Senna. “It means a lot to me to compete on such a special date for Brazil and world motorsport. It is something I will carry in my heart. I wish to have a clean weekend, without accidents, and continue improving what we did in Santa Cruz. NASCAR Brazil is an incredibly competitive and passionate category,” she said.
Still in the adaptation process, Calderón emphasized the importance of prior preparation to face the Paraná circuit. “From what I have seen so far, it is a track with very different characteristics from Santa Cruz, and this preparation is essential,” commented the driver, who has been using simulators.

Bruna Tomaselli arrives boosted by the accumulated experience and familiarity with the Cascavel layout. The Brazilian showed confidence in an even more competitive performance in this stage. “Very excited after the first contact with the car, with the team, and having passed the debut. We showed great potential in Santa Cruz, with a lot of progress, and we arrive even more prepared for Cascavel. It is a challenging track, but one I really like, and that makes me very confident to seek victory,” she declared.
The weekend schedule starts with free practice on Friday (5/1), at 12:35 PM and 2:20 PM, and on Saturday at 10:25 AM. Qualifying takes place at 1:50 PM, defining the grid for the Sprint Race, scheduled for 2:30 PM. Also on Saturday, the Sunset Race will be held at 6:10 PM. On Sunday, race 2 is expected to start at 8:30 AM.
