Lando Norris has revealed his desire to race the 24 Hours of Le Mans with McLaren, despite seeing Andrea Stella, his Formula 1 boss, shaking his head in denial as a joke.

The Briton has never hidden his desire to go beyond F1 and the team’s arrival in the WEC in 2027 is the perfect excuse. In fact, the Goodwood Festival drove the LMDh in a demonstration, which only fueled the speculation.
Asked then if he would like to race at Le Mans in other categories with McLaren, Norris, the current F1 champion, replied to the Goodwood broadcast that “that’s the plan. One day. I don’t know how far away that is.”

“I don’t know if it will be in two, three, four or ten years. But, as I said, I’m a motorsport fan, so I want to try a bit of everything. With Valentino [Rossi], I said I want to try a motorcycle. Andrea [Stella] is here, so he’s shaking his head negatively,” he concluded, laughing.
