The 2026 World Cup is coming to an end and, with that, Everaldo Marques is also approaching his return to Formula 1 broadcasts on Globo. The commentator answered on his social media when he should return to motorsport on the network.

With the return of F1 to Grupo Globo, Evê, as he is also known by his fans and admirers, was chosen to become the official commentator on free-to-air TV – on SporTV, the mission is assigned to Bruno Fonseca.

However, with this year’s World Cup edition, Marques was one of those chosen to go to the United States to follow the games – he was the main commentator for the Brazilian National Team. He also shared the role with Gustavo Villani and Paulo Andrade.

Now, with the final approaching, scheduled for next Sunday, July 19, Everaldo’s return to Formula 1 is near. Asked by a follower on Instagram when he would return to the world of four wheels, he replied that “if all goes well, at the Hungarian GP” – the race at Hungaroring takes place next week, from July 23 to 26.
During the World Cup period, Globo and SporTV shared the same broadcast. This week the Belgian GP takes place at Spa-Francorchamps, from July 17 to 19.
