Marçal Müller and Gaetano di Mauro started the Porsche Cup Endurance championship in the best way. This Sunday (12) in Portugal, the duo achieved the first victory of the 2026 season.

Things already looked promising from qualifying, when the teammates of Porsche #544 secured pole position for the 300km race in the Algarve.
In the 2h30 race lasting and 65 laps completed, it was not all smooth. They had exciting battles with drivers like Matheus Comparatto and Marcos Regadas, but in the end held off the rivals to be the first to cross the finish line – also, they were the winners of the first segment of the race.

“As it should be, right. A race full of emotion, it’s 300km of excitement from start to finish,” said Marçal after the race. “I started with slick tires in the rain, quite tense, but I managed to keep the car on the track always maintaining a good pace. We finished the race without any track limits, I managed to hand the car over to Gaetano with plenty of Boost, and he closed it perfectly for us to get this victory,” he added.
Also, Di Mauro stated that “I am very happy to first be able to live this moment with Marçal. It was a very tough race for us, it was tight there with everyone. Even at the box exit now, I had a squeeze that could have broken the car, but everything went well. I think everything that had to happen happened, I want to thank God for the opportunity and we will keep pushing in search of the title.”
