Arvid Lindblad is on the eve of his debut as a full-time Formula 1 driver. And the 2026 season rookie commented on the ‘quite special’ connection he has with seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton.

The competitor will make his first race in the category at the Australian GP this weekend wearing the Racing Bulls colors. The debut is even more special after a 2021 video talking to Lando Norris went viral where he said “I want you to remember me, see you in five years”, proving that the prophecy came true.
It turns out that the current Ferrari driver is also quite special in the Briton’s trajectory, as he was the one he looked up to when he discovered his passion for Formula 1.

“The story with Lando is quite funny. It’s fun how things come back. I had a belief when I was five years old that I could reach F1,” he told Sky Sports.
“I had that same belief from that same day at 14 years old. And obviously I’m very proud now that I’ve stuck to that timeline and that it’s come true. To be honest, Lando wasn’t exactly who I looked up to, because Lewis was much more my reference when I was starting to develop my passion for motorsport,” he added.
