Rumors that the one-make category would race on one of the most important weekends on the world motorsport calendar began to circulate back in 2025. It didn’t take long after for the confirmation to come and spirits to be raised by the expectation of the double round.
The stage in Le Mans will host the Carrera Cup class and will feature two extended duration races of 45 minutes each. After so much waiting, they take place next week on June 11 and 13, Thursday and Saturday, and Dener is excited about everything. “Really, it’s something expected,” he said in an interview during the Interlagos stage with the presence of F1MANIA.NET.

“Since the first time we announced, first as an intention and then as confirmation, but this expectation has been inside my chest and my heart for many years. It’s getting close, it gives a shiver, I won’t say no, but everything is being very carefully handled, it’s a very big challenge, we are going to participate in a huge event, we are going to participate as a support event of the greatest importance,” he continued.
“That is, we will be the last race before the start of the 24 Hours and that, for us, is a great pride to know that. The team is working hard, not only the car team, the event team, but also the logistics team, then taking it to Portugal, anyway. It’s been work that I’m proud to see the team doing,” he concluded.
