Leclerc’s renewal represents a strong signal of continuity for Ferrari. The Monegasque began his journey with the team in 2019, and as he enters a new phase of his career, he chose to continue betting on the Italian project, also driven by the consistent start to the 2026 season.
Although he has not yet won a title in F1, Leclerc remains a central piece in Ferrari’s plans. The Monegasque’s stay practically removes him from future driver market movements, leaving attention focused on Hamilton’s situation, who joined the team after leaving Mercedes at the end of 2024.
