F1: Ferrari announces multi-year contract renewal with Leclerc

Charles Leclerc will continue for a few more good years at Ferrari in Formula 1. This Wednesday (3), the Maranello team announced the multi-year contract renewal of the Monegasque driver.

This weekend the Monaco GP takes place, the home race of the driver of car #16. And on the eve of the start of activities, he signed the contract with the Italian team he has defended since the 2019 season.

The duration of the contract between Leclerc and Ferrari in Formula 1 was not specified, only said that he will continue with the team “for the next seasons,” which remains a trend among F1 teams. His last agreement had been signed in 2024.

I will continue giving absolutely everything of myself to take this team back to the place it belongs, at the top, for everyone in Maranello and, above all, for the tifosi, whose passion is the beating heart of this Scuderia,” he added.

During his time with Ferrari so far in F1, Leclerc has achieved eight wins, 27 poles, and 52 podiums, and currently occupies third position in the 2026 Drivers’ Championship with 75 points accumulated.
