First champion in the history of F4 Brazil and an international standout in F3, Pedro Clerot will use a special Schuberth helmet during the Monaco GP this weekend. The preliminary category of F1 features two races, and the driver from Brasília prepared a tribute to the greatest winner in the history of the circuit, his idol Ayrton Senna, who triumphed there on six occasions (1987, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1993).

“This will be my first race in Monaco and, when we talk about this track, we automatically remember Ayrton Senna. He is my great idol in motorsport and also outside the sport. A great reference for me and also an example of a person who always fought hard to achieve victories and titles,” says Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.
Clerot’s special helmet displays the iconic green and blue stripes starting near the visor and extending to the back of the helmet. The “Senna Sempre” logo, with the drawing of Ayrton raising the Brazilian flag, is placed over the blue stripe. Finally, the Brazilian flag is also drawn on the top of the helmet.
The 19-year-old driver recently had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of the Ayrton Senna Institute and Senna Brands in São Paulo, where he could learn more details about his idol’s career, as well as see up close items from the collection maintained by the Senna family, such as helmets, trophies, racing suits, and the classic McLaren MP4/5B from the 1990 season.

“It was truly a privilege to be so well received and also to learn more details about Senna’s stories. I have already watched some of his races on YouTube, but seeing the car up close, among the items, for everything he represents to me and to our country, was really very special,” says Clerot.
F3 plans a free practice session this Thursday, qualifying on Friday starting at 6 a.m., and the Sprint on Saturday at 5:45 a.m. The main race is scheduled for 3 a.m. on Sunday (Brasília time).
