Saturday (30) of NASCAR Brazil at the Interlagos Circuit saw Cacá Bueno win the Sprint Race, the event that defined the starting positions for the third stage of the 2026 season. The Team RC driver led both rounds of qualifying at the circuit located in São Paulo (SP) and won the short race from start to finish, securing the pole position for the stage.

“It’s a victory. Today we didn’t just beat six drivers, but the entire grid in Q1 and half of them in Q2. It’s qualifying, but it’s also a race, it’s different from just doing a fast lap. I’m happy with the car, happy with the team, happy that we found and solved a very serious brake problem. I’m happy,” said Cacá Bueno, who celebrated the victory on the podium alongside his daughter, Bella.
“Usually the trophy at home goes to my son’s (Cadu) room, but this one will go to Bella’s room, who came to watch and got on the podium with me to celebrate. She grabbed the trophy, so it’s hers. Tomorrow we go all out, but we saw that Arthur Gama is very strong. I started very well, opened a good gap and thought I would escape in front, but he came very strong,” explained the driver.

“The slipstream here on this track gains almost a second, so we have to open a big gap. After the third lap my tire heated up, so the pace improved. There is still room for improvement in the car, but every time we team up with RC we get good results. There is still a lot of work, but I’m extremely happy,” added Cacá Bueno, who is sponsored by Betnacional, Capital Concreto, PicPay, ACDelco, SpeedMax Pneus, Pneu Store, Milwaukee, Turbi, and Chevrolet.
After the Sprint Race, NASCAR Brazil holds its two races of the third stage this Sunday. The first is scheduled for 9 a.m., with broadcast on SBT and YouTube. The race that closes the São Paulo round starts at 2 p.m., with coverage on RedeTV! and YouTube.
