More than ever, the countdown to the 24 Hours of Le Mans is on. And with the Porsche Cup serving as a support event during the French weekend, Miguel Paludo couldn’t be more excited for the race.

The 2026 season marks a major highlight for the Brazilian one-make category: competing in a round at La Sarthe. The class that will race on June 13 is the Carrera Cup, marking the third stop on the calendar.
And commenting on the opportunity to share the same weekend and the same circuit with the World Endurance Championship in Le Mans, Paludo highlighted the opportunity as a driver and the chance to race once again on the iconic track.

“I had the privilege of racing two Porsche races there in 2017 and 2023 and it is a fantastic event. 70 Porsches started there, if I’m not mistaken, in 2017, 60-something in 2023, the atmosphere, everything around the 24 Hours is unique, and it is a 13-kilometer track, 4 minutes the lap time of a Porsche, 45 minutes of racing gives eight laps with local yellow flags,” he said in an interview with the presence of F1MANIA.NET.
“I think it will be a great show and it is very rewarding as a driver to have another opportunity to go back there because it is one of those races in a career that are not easy, it doesn’t happen every year. So, I hope we arrive competitive, leave well with competitive fuel and can fight for the win there,” he added.
