The development project already has drivers integrated into its structure. In the initial stage are Agustín Pizarro and Martín Saa, who compete with the Cronos Racing Team in Argentina Karting. In international competitions, Máximo Frigerio represents G Racing Motorsport in Brazil’s Turismo Nacional, while Nicolás Fuca is part of Paladini Racing in TCR South America.

During the presentation, the organization also emphasized the international dimension of the category, which currently has a presence in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. Inserted into a global platform with more than 30 championships, 700 drivers, and operations in 55 countries, TCR reinforced the concept of being “The Libertadores of Motorsport.”

Another highlighted point was the championship’s positioning as the only regional touring car category contested under FIA (International Automobile Federation) regulations, maintaining a proposal based on professionalism, international identity, and global projection. Since its creation in 2021, the championship has recorded continuous growth, tripling revenue and expanding its sporting and commercial presence in different South American markets.

The calendar also foresees more than 16,000 kilometers covered throughout the season.

In the media and audience area, the forecast for 2026 exceeds 35 million dollars in exposure value, with an expectation of more than 492 thousand accumulated viewers and about 2.1 million digital views per event. The races will continue to be distributed via TV and streaming platforms for different South American markets.
