Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren, stated that the decision to expand into the golf sector is a ‘natural step’, given the company’s expertise in high-performance engineering. Neil Howie, CEO of McLaren Golf, explained that the initiative goes beyond creating equipment, being a brand that incorporates McLaren’s high-performance DNA into the world of golf.

McLaren Golf will be formed by a team of golf industry specialists, alongside brilliant engineering minds, with the goal of innovating and redefining golfers’ expectations regarding their equipment. The brand already has a set date for the launch of its products: April 29, 2026.

Brown, also a golf enthusiast and CEO of McLaren Racing, commented: “Taking our benchmark engineering standards from the track to the golf course, we feel this is a natural step, as well as an opportunity to open the McLaren brand to a new audience,” the CEO concluded.
