Then, in the Sprint race, the Argentine crossed the finish line in tenth, while in Sunday’s GP he was eighth, repeating his best result, achieved at the 2024 Azerbaijan GP. “I think since I arrived in F1, this was my most perfect weekend,” he commented.
“I am very happy with the weekend, everything went very well. I think we made the most of every session and scored important points. It was a weekend that all of us can be very proud of and we will try to improve in Canada,” he stated.

“I am very grateful to the team for the new parts, the updates, the new wings, the new chassis that arrived. All of this was very helpful and I think it really helped me adapt better and find more rhythm. From the start, the competition was fierce, we were ahead since the free practice sessions, even without knowing the track. We executed each session perfectly and I am very happy for today’s points,” he evaluated.
“The team made a great effort to bring parts to the car, updates, and a new chassis. It was a rush at the factory during this break, but also very fruitful. I am very proud to have achieved the performance we needed and to show the car’s speed this weekend. It was very positive,” he concluded.
