Isack Hadjar ended the Miami Grand Prix of Formula 1 prematurely this Sunday (3). The Red Bull driver admitted to being disappointed with himself after the crash in the early laps.

The Frenchman suffered a collision on the sixth lap of the race just after leaving the back straight while trying to recover from a pit stop start. As a result, a safety car was deployed – in the end, it helped Max Verstappen secure fifth place.
After the race, Hadjar told GPblog how disappointed he was about the crash. “That was tough, obviously breaking the car made me very upset, and also those were easy points considering the car I had, so I just threw it all away.”

“I don’t really remember because it happened very fast, so I don’t have a very good memory of what exactly happened. I just felt like I got hit hard. I simply didn’t see it coming. And the car broke, I hit the other wall, I couldn’t stop. It just shows how much you need to be focused, and I wasn’t,” he added.
