In a race marked by four Safety Car interventions and few green flag laps, Casagrande adopted a strategic approach to secure a top-5 finish in the race held this morning. The owner of car number 83 was in the leading pack throughout the 23 minutes of the race and finished in fourth position.
“It was a race with few green flag laps. I had to avoid an accident, it was a matter of survival, and there I managed to gain two positions. After that, there wasn’t much to do, but finishing fourth is very good for the championship,” explains the driver who is sponsored by Baterias Júpiter, Axalta, OnPetro, STP, Cresol, RP Info, UFI Filters, Chevrolet, and OMP.
The owner of car number 83 also highlighted the importance of the result within the context of the title fight, valuing consistency throughout the stage, his trademark in the championships he competes in.

“We always think about scoring the maximum points, and today was like that. Being able to complete the race is already positive, especially seeing some competitors falling behind. That helps a lot in the championship fight,” Casagrande continued, who also highlighted the performance throughout the weekend and projected the rest of the season with optimism.
“We have a very good car to continue throughout the year. We are doing our homework and the goal is to keep it that way, always thinking about the championship,” concludes the driver of car 83.
The next stage of NASCAR Brazil will be held from May 29 to 31 at the Interlagos Autodrome in São Paulo (SP).
