Gabriel Casagrande won the sunset race of NASCAR Brazil this Saturday (2), in Cascavel (PR). The race, held at sunset, had a lot of movement in the front pack.

The race started with Denis Navarro leading the pack. Casagrande tried to overtake at Bacião, but was unsuccessful. Right behind, Juninho Berlanda managed to take third position from Victor Andrade.
At the beginning of the second lap, Casagrande managed to get alongside Navarro and take the lead in the race. Further back, Alfredinho Ibiapina went off track but quickly returned. A few seconds later, Tito Giaffone also quickly left the track. Meanwhile, Berlanda lost positions and fell to sixth place.
In the following laps, the race stabilized, but on the eighth lap Victor Andrade managed to take second place from Navarro. A few laps later, Navarro returned to second place.
With seven minutes to go, the safety car came out due to Gustavo Bandeira’s car, which was stopped in a dangerous location.

At the restart, Casagrande managed to maintain the lead. Navarro was attacked by more than two cars but also held firm.
At the start of the penultimate lap, Andrade and Maurício managed to leave Navarro behind, changing the podium configuration, finalized with Casagrande’s victory.
Denis Navarro finished in fourth place, followed by Arthur Gama. Nicolas Costa secured sixth place, accompanied by Thiago Camilo. Juninho Berlanda, who finished eighth, won in the Challenge category. Ricardo Zonta and Vitor Genz completed the top 10.
