The weekend in Miami is quite complicated for the Audi driver. After finishing 11th in the Sprint race, he was disqualified due to an irregularity in his car.
The qualifying session could not reverse the scenario. After losing most of the time in Q1, he went out for only one attempt, did not succeed and will start last at the Miami GP – also, his left brake caught fire at the end of the attempt.

“We had a problem before the session that completely put us out of qualifying. I had one lap at the end there, but even so it was all very rushed, we put the car on the track and it was without doing much setup,” he told SporTV.
“It was the only chance we had to try to do a lap, but during the lap we had many problems with the car. One of them, clearly, I think you saw on television was the brake catching fire. So, some things happened that I don’t know yet, I literally just got back from the track, but that’s it,” he added.
