Charles Leclerc left the Miami GP Formula 1 Sprint qualifying with mixed feelings, after securing P4 on the Sprint race starting grid. The Ferrari driver highlighted a clear weakness in the car but believes in a reaction later in the weekend.

The tire performance caught attention and could directly influence the result for the rest of the weekend. Despite this, Leclerc sees room for immediate improvement with fine adjustments before the next session.
“Our main problem today was the tires. The mediums worked well, but the softs were not so good, so we need to analyze that,” said the Monegasque. According to him, the team is already working to find quick solutions and extract more performance from the package.

Leclerc also showed confidence in race pace, indicating that Ferrari can be competitive when conditions change: “I think we can make some adjustments before the GP qualifying session and find more performance,” he added.
Looking ahead to this Saturday’s Sprint race, the Ferrari driver believes in opportunities, especially in direct battles on track: “Our race pace is quite strong, so we will push to see if we can make something happen, especially in terms of overtaking,” he concluded.
