NASCAR Brasil will have the second stage of the 2026 season at the Zilmar Beux Autodrome this weekend (01, 02, and 03/05), where the São Paulo driver Witold Ramasauskas will seek to maintain the lead in the NASCAR Brasil Challenge division.

The big highlight of the weekend and also the main event will be the race held on Saturday (02) late in the afternoon, starting at 5:55 PM. The sunset format of the race requires a different strategy from the teams and drivers, demanding adaptation to temperature and visibility conditions throughout the race.
After two podiums achieved during the opening that took place in the municipality of Santa Cruz do Sul (RS), the driver of the Chevrolet Camaro #11 from Team RC wants to fight for the victory, but mainly thinks about maintaining the top spot in the standings: “In Cascavel we will have a night race on Saturday, which changes the schedule a bit, and a shorter race on Sunday. I want to fight for the win, of course, but also score well and maintain the championship lead, which is what matters most to us,” said Witold, who has a podium from his last time on the track with NASCAR Brasil.

The cars hit the track this Friday (01) with the first activities of the stage; on Saturday (02) the second free practice is scheduled in addition to qualifying and the sprint race that will define the starting grid from 1:50 PM; the first race in Cascavel will still take place on Saturday starting at 5:55 PM. On Sunday (03) from 8:28 AM the second and final race of the stage will take place.
