The traditional Paraná track, known for its fast and challenging layout, will be the setting for one of the most anticipated events of the season. In NASCAR Brasil, the highlight is the sunset-format race on Saturday, held during the dusk in Cascavel, a condition that increases the challenge for drivers and teams due to the changing light and temperature throughout the race.

Cavaleiro Sports arrives motivated for the round after a promising start to the 2026 NASCAR Brasil season. The team officially debuted in the category this year, precisely in the first season of the new generation RISE 26 car, a model that brought important technical advances to the category, including a new chassis, weight reduction, increased power, and a revamped aerodynamic package. Additionally, they come from a victorious round in Stock Car at Interlagos, where starting from pole position, Gui Salas won from start to finish.

The weekend will also feature pit visits, grid walks, and promotional activities with the public.

NASCAR Brasil is experiencing a historic season in 2026. Besides the arrival of the new RISE 26 car, the championship also debuted a new playoff system inspired by the American NASCAR Cup Series. The competition will have nine rounds throughout the year, visiting the main circuits in the country.

Track activities start on Friday with the first free practice sessions of NASCAR Brasil and Copa Truck. On Saturday, qualifying and the NASCAR Brasil sunset race take place. On Sunday, besides the category’s complementary race, Copa Truck closes the weekend with a double round in Cascavel.
