NASCAR Brasil will continue this weekend with the second stage of the 2026 season, scheduled for the Zilmar Beux Racetrack in Cascavel (PR). Driver defending Team RC, Cacá Bueno is third in the championship and heads into the double round with high expectations, both due to his performance at the season opener in Santa Cruz do Sul (RS) and his performance in western Paraná last year.

In 2025, when the race took place at night and featured a 100-mile course, Cacá finished fourth after climbing through the pack following the first segment of the race. With a new car adopted by the category this year, the driver started the 2026 season with a third place and a fifth place in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. All this leaves the owner of car number 0 hopeful for good results.
“We performed very well in Cascavel last year. But, starting this year NASCAR Brasil adopted a new car, with which we had a good performance in Santa Cruz, with a third place. We need to show speed from the practice sessions, but avoiding wearing out the tires too much, since we only have one set for the weekend. If we manage that, we have good chances in the races,” said Cacá Bueno, who is sponsored by Betnacional, Capital Concreto, PicPay, ACDelco, SpeedMax Pneus, Pneu Store, Milwaukee, Turbi, and Chevrolet.

NASCAR Brasil plans a free practice session on Friday, while Saturday will have another session before the Sprint Race at 2:30 PM, featuring only the top six qualifiers. The Sunset Race will take place later the same day starting at 6:05 PM, while the final race is scheduled for 8:25 AM on Sunday.
