The Frenchman became a member of the team’s Junior Academy in early 2022, despite talks with Helmut Maro having started a year earlier.
Gradually, the competitor made his way within the team, making his grid debut with Racing Bulls in 2025 and receiving a promotion to the main team in 2026, becoming Max Verstappen’s teammate in Formula 1.

Speaking about signing with the team, Isack told the F1 website that “it was a time in my career when I was uncertain. I didn’t have a clear path — what I was going to do. Even funding the whole year was difficult, so we didn’t even know if we would be able to finish the year. It was a strange situation.”
“So, to have that relief after Red Bull signed me — it was something they took a while to accept. Even when I already had the Red Bull helmet and colors, I still couldn’t believe it,” he added.
