According to him, the break allowed for more in-depth work with the team, both at the factory and in other development areas. This could be crucial for improving performance starting this weekend.

“These weeks without races were good to reset after a busy start to the season. It was an opportunity to spend more time with the team, working and finding ways to evolve,” Bortoleto stated. The Audi driver emphasized that the period was productive, but made it clear that the priority now is to get back on track.

The Brazilian also recalled his previous experience in Miami, highlighting the unique character of the event: “I liked Miami last year. It’s a different event, with the track around the stadium, an impressive paddock, and a lot happening around, so it’s a cool place to race,” he added.

For the weekend, the focus is on extracting the maximum from the start, especially considering the format with only one free practice session, due to the Sprint format. Bortoleto reinforced that the goal is to put all sessions together and start strong: “The objective is to put everything together better throughout the weekend, make the most of the single practice session, and be in a good position from the start,” he concluded.
