The Interlagos Racetrack, in São Paulo, will host this week the third round of TCR Brasil, which will feature a one-hour race disputed in a doubles format.

The schedule includes three 30-minute free practice sessions, two on Friday and one on Saturday, before qualifying. The grid will be defined in two 15-minute sessions early Saturday afternoon: the first with guests and the second with the main drivers. The start is scheduled for 2:30 PM on Sunday.

Among the highlights is the duo formed by Brasília native Raphael Reis, from the Cupra #77 of W2 Pro GP, and the current Stock Car and Porsche Cup Endurance champion, Felipe Fraga. The partnership comes at an important moment in the championship, as Reis seeks to regain the lead after losing it in Cascavel, when he suffered a tire puncture a few minutes from the end while leading.

About racing at home and alongside his friend, Reis commented: “I am very happy to compete once again at Interlagos and even more to welcome my friend Fraga as a partner for this important race. Besides being a reference among drivers in Brazil, current champion in Stock Car and Porsche Cup Endurance, I am especially pleased because I know that for Fraga, the W2 team is family, just as it is for me. We will work hard from the first free practice. We both really like the São Paulo track, we have already won races at Interlagos and we are going for it this weekend.”

Felipe Fraga also returns to a familiar environment. Discovered by W2 Pro GP, he was Stock Light champion in 2013 and reunites with the team with which he built part of his career. He also celebrated the opportunity: “I am very excited, first to team up with Raphinha, who is a long-time friend. I always wanted to share the car with him. I am grateful to race again with W2, which discovered me in Stock Light and took me to Stock Car. It will be great to work with them again and I am looking forward to driving a TCR, as I have never driven one. It will be a new experience.”
