“With the approach speeds we have with the turbo button, or even without using it, sometimes the engine gives you much more speed than the driver in front, depending on the amount of energy they have. And it was only a matter of time until the first big accident happened,” said the Williams driver after the race in Suzuka.
“When you are competing and you realize there can be a 50 km/h speed difference, that’s not racing. There is no category, I think, in the world, where you have that kind of top speed difference.”
