The Super Challenge Interlagos will mark an unusual stage in the TCR South America calendar, bringing together 21 pairs at the Interlagos Racetrack, in São Paulo. Different from usual, the weekend will have only one race, lasting 58 minutes plus one lap, disputed on the 4,309-meter circuit.

The schedule begins on Friday (24), with free practice sessions dedicated to invited drivers. Among the extra participants are names linked to the FIA TCR World Tour and champions of relevant categories in international and South American motorsport.
Among the main highlights, South Americans Esteban Guerrieri and Santiago Urrutia return to share the track in the category. Guerrieri will race alongside Tiago Pernía using a Honda Civic Type R, while Urrutia will form a duo with Nicolás Fucá in a Lynk & Co 03, both models recently used on the world stage.
The grid also brings together a series of champions. Felipe Fraga, current Stock Car Pro Series champion and TCR Brasil leader, will be alongside Raphael Reis in a Cupra León VZ. Uruguayan Facundo Ferra, Superturismo Uruguayo champion in 2025, will share a Peugeot 308 GTI TCR with Enrique Maglione.
Another confirmed name is British Jenson Brickley, TCR Europe champion in 2025, who will compete in a duo with Enzo Gianfratti. Also from the European scene, Alex Ley — current leader of the continental championship — will race with Camilo Trappa in a Hyundai Elantra N.
The list of participants also includes prominent drivers from regional motorsport. Julián Santero, Turismo Carretera champion, will form a duo with Leonel Pernía. Rodrigo Lugón will compete alongside Diego Ciantini, while Gastón Iansa will share the car with Gabriel Moura. Uruguayan Mauricio Lambiris completes the group alongside Joaquín Cafaro, in another Peugeot 308 GTI TCR.
Among the Brazilians, Galid Osman returns to the category after the title won in 2023, racing with Juan Manuel Casella. Gaetano Di Mauro will make his TCR debut sharing the car with Néstor Girolami. Celso Neto and Fabio Casagrande are also confirmed, the latter in a duo with Adrián Chiriano.
The stage also marks team changes. Gabryel Romano joins Hyundai MSA and will race alongside Alberto Cattucci. Mariano Pernía returns to the championship with Alex Seid, using an Audi RS3 LMS Gen 2 from Cobra Racing Team. Nelson Piquet Jr. will have Marcos Regadas as a partner, while Erick Schotten will compete alongside Bruno Massa.
Paladini Racing will field four cars on the grid: Fabián Yannantuoni and Beto Monteiro, Juan Ángel Rosso and Francisco Viel Bugliotti, as well as Fabricio Pezzini and Javier Merlo, a duo that has already achieved victories in endurance races.

The stage regulations provide specific rules for the race. Driver changes will be mandatory between laps 17 and 22, and not permitted during the Safety Car. The minimum pit stop time will be 1min45, with a 90-second penalty for those who do not comply with the requirement.
