The relationship between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri remains good in the Formula 1 season. Andrea Stella, team principal, reinforced that the duo continues to have a good relationship even with the title dispute in 2025.

Last year, McLaren showed great strength during much of the championship. In the final stage, however, Max Verstappen recovered and almost won the five-time championship, but it was Norris who emerged as the champion – Piastri finished only third in the standings.
The fight between the Briton and the Australian had some moments of tension such as the accident in Canada and the swap of positions in Monza. But despite this, both still get along well. “When it comes to the relationship between Oscar and Lando, I have reflected a lot on this, as I see how well they collaborate,” said Stella.

“These guys have gone through a journey in pursuit of the world championship, the drivers’ world championship, the dream of their lives, competing against each other, and now they continue to demonstrate this level of mutual respect. Perhaps this is something that we, as a team, have helped to develop and consolidate, but at the same time, and this also applies to Lando, as I said before about Oscar, this is their essence,” he added.
