Giassi secures podium in the Porsche Cup at Velocitta

Jeff Giassi took third place in race 2 of the second stage of the Porsche Cup Brazil, held last Sunday (29) at the Velocitta Circuit. With a grid of 37 cars, the driver from Santa Catarina stood out from the start, quickly taking third position and securing a podium finish.

The driver’s performance drew attention for its precision and consistency. After overtaking four opponents on the first lap, Giassi managed the race pace well, maintaining his position and avoiding mistakes on a technical and demanding circuit.

“Third place in a grid of 37 cars. I can hardly believe that I am finally reaping the rewards of so much dedication. I started seventh and took third place on the first lap, after that I managed to maintain the position until the end,” Giassi stated after the race.

The next stage of the 2026 Porsche Cup Brazil season will be held in Le Mans, France, as part of the official 24 Hours of Le Mans schedule, providing another opportunity for Giassi to test his strength on an international stage and continue his good momentum in the season.
