Enrico Pedrosa achieved his first track victory in the Porsche Cup. In Race 2 of the Sprint Challenge at Velocitta, held this Sunday (29), the competitor took advantage of the opportunities to cross the finish line in first place.

The competitor saw leader Caio Castro go off track while leading the pack, took the lead and never looked back, climbing to the top step of the podium in his first weekend in the category.
Cecilia Rabelo finished in second position, with Will Cesar in third just 0s009 behind the competitor. Nicholas Garfinkel and Marco Mascari completed the podium for day 2.

After Saturday’s race in the interior of São Paulo, the grid inversion reversed the top six positions. As a result, Neto Heil took the pole position in the category.
The clock was started in Mogi Guaçu, but the start had to be aborted, with competitors needing to stay behind the safety car for one more lap.
Then, with the lights finally out at Velocitta, Caio Castro got a jump and managed to move into first place. Meanwhile, Gabriel Guper, Adriano Valverde, Lucas Castelani, Nicholas Garfinkel, and Sadak Leite ended up involved in a tangle, ending up in the runoff area and triggering the safety car.
At this moment, Castro was leading the pack, with Heil, Cecilia Rabelo, Will Cesar, and Enrico Pedrosa in the top five positions. Neto was leading in Sport and Cláudio Simão in Rookie.

The race was restarted with 15 minutes to the checkered flag and while Caio managed to maintain first position, Cecilia managed to leave Heil behind and took second place. Further back, Ricardo Zylberman and Raphael Bernardes touched, with Bernardes stopping and once again the safety car on the track.
Race direction then announced that Gabriel Guper, who touched Simão at this moment, was excluded from the race due to the incident involving Castellani at the start of the contest.
It didn’t take long for the green flag to wave once again in Mogi Guaçu. In a twist, Castro ended up going off track with a flat tire while in first place, needing to pit. As a result, Pedrosa took the lead of the pack, with Cecilia and Will Cesar completing the top 3.
With two minutes to go, the order had Pedrosa in first place with a lead of more than 7s2 over Rabelo in second. Cesar, Garfinkel, and Mascari completed the top five positions. Enrico was first in Sport and Dilson Peres in Rookie.
Checkered flag and Pedrosa secured the track victory in his debut weekend in the Porsche Cup. Rabelo, Cesar, Garfinkel, and Mascari completed Sunday’s podium in Mogi Guaçu.
