EMS driver Leonardo Sanchez finishes the first Porsche Cup race on the podium. The driver, who secured third place in qualifying, maintained the position after a good race and came close to taking second place.
Even with the safety car coming out twice during the race, Leo stayed in the fight for the category victory, engaging in a great duel with Pipo Massa. In the end, Sanchez was unable to overtake him, but stood on the podium anyway.
After an unlucky weekend in Interlagos, where he did not complete either of the two races, the driver bounces back with a good result to put himself in the fight for the Rookie category.

The second Carrera Rookie race takes place at 13:20 this Sunday, with transmission on Porsche Cup digital platforms, as well as the Band and BandSports channels.

I had a great battle with Pipo Massa on the track and unfortunately I couldn’t overtake, but I was impressed by his courage in the maneuvers.
