Driver Silvio Morestoni completed another race with a great climb through the field. In the first stage at the Velocitta circuit in the Porsche Cup, the driver of car #2 made good overtakes and finished in seventh position in the Sport category.

Starting from 25th position after having problems in qualifying, even being hindered during a fast lap, Morestoni arrived at the race in Mogi Guaçu with the goal of moving up the grid and managed to accomplish the task with praise, finishing in 17th position overall. In his category, Sport, Silvio was just two positions below the podium.
The two safety car periods did not hinder the driver from Santa Catarina, who trusts the car’s momentum to achieve an even better position in tomorrow afternoon’s race.

Race 2 of the Porsche Carrera Cup takes place tomorrow at 13:20, with broadcasting on the Porsche Cup YouTube channel and on Rede Bandeirantes channels on TV and the Internet.

“I started the race with the goal of moving forward. I had problems in qualifying, the car was too loose at the rear, I was hindered on a fast lap and needed to recover in the race, so I went for it. I gained eight positions, a good climb to think about the category podium tomorrow.”
