With track temperature above 40ºC and ambient temperature around 30ºC, the second stage of the Porsche Cup promises to be a challenge for cars and drivers in Mogi Guaçu.
But the discomfort of some can be the advantage of others.
While the majority of the more than 70 drivers registered for the stage complained about the high temperatures inside São Paulo, the driver from Maranhão Marcos Regadas uses this as an advantage to score points in the Carrera Cup.
Champion of the Sport class in 2025, the competitor in car #17 completed only one activity of the weekend, the free practice session on Friday afternoon. He finished in 16th place, with a time of 1:30.463.
Regadas believes that, with good work in data analysis, it will be possible to fight for one of the ten spots in Q2 this Saturday, and thus battle once more in the elite field of the Carrera Cup.

Saturday has the Carrera qualifying opening the track and the first race of the main category starting at 13:50. On Sunday the final race begins at 13:20. Both races are broadcast live on Band and Bandsports channels, as well as official digital platforms of the Porsche Cup.

“I’m coming with okay expectations, I wasn’t able to do other training sessions. But I’m well adapted to the heat because where I come from it’s very hot, so that’s not a big difficulty for me. It’s more about getting the car right and remembering the braking points. We’re running very close to each other, so any detail will make a difference”
