This Friday Silvio Morestoni participated in training sessions for the Velocitta stage of the Porsche Carrera Cup, in Mogi Guaçu (SP). The driver of Porsche #2 took advantage of the two sessions to adjust the car for both qualifying and the race.

In the morning the drivers participated in optional training and Morestoni used the available time to test new tires in qualifying conditions. The driver was among the six fastest on the track, but when he was closing his best lap he had to return to the pits because of a red flag and ended the session in the top10 overall and sixth in the Sport class.
In the afternoon Silvio Morestoni returned to the 3,493-meter track with 13 turns at Velocitta for free practice and took advantage of the session to test race conditions with worn tires. The driver completed 23 laps on Friday simulating the various situations he will face in the Mogi Guaçu (SP) stage.
This Saturday, at 1:50 PM, the first race of the weekend takes place. On Sunday the final race will be held at 1:20 PM.
The races are broadcast live on Porsche Cup’s digital platforms and on Band and Bandsports channels.

“It was a Friday dedicated to adjusting our car, in the morning we were among the six fastest, but a red flag prevented us from improving even more with new tires. In the afternoon we dedicated all the time to training with worn tires and simulating race situations. So I believe we are well prepared and I’m excited for tomorrow’s qualifying.”
