TCR South America and TCR Brasil ended Friday’s (27th) schedule with an intense second free practice session, where the 10 fastest drivers finished within the same second. The session was led by Nelson Piquet Jr. (Honda Racing), who recorded 1min04s137, the best time of the day at Autódromo Zilmar Beaux, in Cascavel (PR).

Tiago Pernía, Nelsinho’s teammate, finished second with a difference of just 0s013. Right behind came Néstor Girolami, with his Hyundai, competing for the official team of the South Korean brand.
