Mariana Becker confirmed which races she will not be attending as an on-site commentator in Formula 1 in 2026. During the pre-race broadcast of the Sprint race in China, the journalist sent a message saying that in addition to Shanghai, she will also not be going to Qatar and the Circuit of the Americas.

The reporter followed F1’s return to the Rio-based broadcaster this championship. But unlike the coverage as a reporter bringing information from the circuits, she now acts as a commentator during the sessions – it turns out with the addition that she will also travel to 21 of the 24 races on the calendar.

“Do you find it strange that I’m not in China? You find it strange because you forgot, my agreement was for 21 Grands Prix, there are three that I’m out of: China, Qatar, and Austin. The rest I’m all in, I’m away, but I’m keeping an eye out,” she said in the message.
“In a little while I’ll catch a flight, I’m here in Melbourne, I’m going to catch a flight to Japan to take a trip there, but I’m all ears, eyes wide open, for everything that’s happening over there, which is not a little. Enjoy,” she added.
