Three-time NASCAR Brazil Special Edition champion, Gabriel Casagrande stood out with the MCM Racing team in his debut at Bristol on the night of Thursday (17), finishing his participation within the top 15 of the ARCA Menards Series (AMS). The driver started in 20th position with the number 38 Toyota Camry and showed a very quick adaptation to the car and the traditional North American oval circuit, climbing five positions by the end of the race.

“We finished 15th in our ARCA debut after 200 laps at Bristol. I am satisfied with what we did. It is not easy to arrive and compete against the best in the USA in a championship decision and on the track that, according to them, is the hardest I could face,” analyzes Casagrande, who competed with support from Aeropark Camboriú, Baterias Júpiter, and Raumak Packaging.
Due to the race in the USA, Casagrande will compete in the NASCAR Brazil activities in Curvelo only starting this Saturday, but arrives very excited to the interior of Minas Gerais to defend the lead in the national category after another international experience.

“The goal was to learn as much as possible, bring the car home intact, and show that we can be there too. Thanks to everyone for the support and the cheering. We will wait for the next steps and I am already on the way to seek a good result in Curvelo to maintain the lead in the NASCAR Brazil championship,” concludes Casagrande.
The NASCAR Brazil qualifying in Curvelo will be held from 3:15 pm this Saturday. Race 1 will take place at 9 am on Sunday and race 2 is scheduled for 2:10 pm the same day. SBT, ESPN, Disney+, and YouTube will broadcast the event.
