Enrico Pedrosa secured another victory in the 2026 season of the Porsche Cup Sprint Challenge class. This Sunday (6), the competitor climbed through the pack, held off rivals, and crossed the finish line in first place in a race that ended behind the safety car.

For the second race of the weekend, Claudio Simão was the one who lined up on pole position with Nicholas Garfinkel beside him. Will Cesar and Sadak Leite completed the second row of the grid.
As with the rest of the weekend, the track was very wet. As soon as the start was authorized, Cesar began attacking vice-leader Garfinkel, while further back, Daniel Neumann wanted Caio Castro’s spot on the lowest step of the podium.
After the first meters of the race, the competitors managed to avoid problems and did not trigger the safety car or suffer contacts or spins, maintaining the order of the battle. Simão was first, with Garfinkel, Cesar, Leite, and Castro closing the top 5.
Then, in the leading positions, Nicholas dropped to third and at Pinheirinho, was hit by Sadak Leite and plummeted through the pack after spinning. He also got a scratch from Cecilia Rabelo, who was passing at the time.
Then began an exciting fight for first place between Simão and Cesar. After going side by side, Will managed to leave Claudio behind to take the lead of the pack.
At the start of the third lap, the leader already had more than 1.6 seconds advantage in first place, while Simão plummeted after being overtaken by Sadak, who became second, and Pedrosa, third. Closing the top 5 was Neumann.

With 15 minutes remaining until the checkered flag, Will Cesar was first, with Pedrosa, Sadak, Caio Castro, and Daniel Neumann in the top 5. Gerson Campos, championship leader, was right behind in sixth.
Cecília Rabelo, seventh overall, led the Challenge Sport, while Simão, eighth, was first in the Rookie category.
Entering the final stretch of the race, after a hard but very clean battle between the top two, the race had a new leader: Enrico took first place, putting Cesar in second – meanwhile, Caio Castro was third. Further back, Cecilia spun at the start of the S, losing the Sport lead.
With just over three minutes left in the race, shortly after Castro took second place and Neumann third, a safety car was necessary. Until the end, it did not leave the track, ending the race without a green flag.
With that, Enrico Pedrosa secured another victory in the 2026 Sprint Challenge, while Neto Heil won in Sport and Lucas Castellani won in Rookie.
