The Porsche Cup will hold two more races of the 2026 season this Sunday (6) at Interlagos. Dener Pires, CEO of the race, expects intense and very exciting battles.

The weekend in São Paulo has been marked by low temperatures and constant rain. In fact, in the first races at the racetrack, still on Saturday, the drivers had to deal with really wet conditions and the Carrera Cup race 1 was ended after only eight laps.

Now, continuing the stage at Interlagos, the day dawned raining, but the rain gave a break. Thinking about the races later, the director expects to see exciting battles on the track, but always with a touch of tension – especially after the accident in the Carrera Cup involving multiple drivers.

“A somewhat more tense race because of the weather. Yesterday we had a tense race, but I think we also made several reflections. But let’s go, let’s have an exciting race, I am sure we will have good results,” he told F1MANIA.NET.
