The current grid champion will continue for a few more years with the British team, with whom he made his debut in the category back in 2019. Therefore, the partnership will last for more than a decade.
Driver and team have shown to be a good fit, as Lando won the title in the 2025 Formula 1 season, while McLaren was consecutive Constructors’ champion in 2024 and 2025.

In a poll conducted by the RacingNews365 website, F1 fans overwhelmingly indicated that Norris made the right decision to stay with the team for a while longer.
Of the readers, 89.94% voted in favor of the Briton’s decision, while only 10.06% were against it.
