Speaking after the checkered flag, he explained that Audi detected a problem even before the start of the F1 race in Zandvoort and there his race was already compromised. “We had some problems that we detected before the race,” he told SporTV.

“Unfortunately, I can’t go into details and talk here, but I think that had kind of ended our race more or less before it even started. Just bringing the car home and doing laps today I think was already something positive for the team, but it was terrible today, to be honest. I was trying everything, but with what was happening, it didn’t allow much more than what it was,” he added.
