The Uruguayan recorded 1min31s986 and finished the first track activity of this Friday (21) in the lead, opening the weekend schedule that marks the return of the Argentine circuit to the category’s calendar after two years.

Tiago Pernía was very close to the best time by marking 1min31s996, just 0.010 behind Cafaro. Nelson Piquet Jr. completed the top-3 with a time of 1min32s128, while Raphael Reis secured fourth place by recording 1min32s164, 0.178 behind the leader. Nicolás Fuca closed the top five with 1min32s810.

Leonel Pernía recorded 1min32s908 and was in sixth position, followed by Fabián Yannantuoni, who marked 1min32s996. Juan Ángel Rosso appeared in eighth with 1min33s039, while Fabrizio Pezzini was ninth by recording 1min33s066. Adrián Chiriano completed the top ten with a time of 1min33s460.
