Max Verstappen is in the final preparations to compete in his last home race at the Dutch Grand Prix of Formula 1, highlighting the special feeling he will have over the weekend.

The Dutch driver faced a very difficult first half of the season, failing to achieve any wins in the first 11 rounds held on the calendar. Now, he hopes to reverse the scenario and move up in the standings, where he is currently in fifth place.
Therefore, looking forward to racing in Zandvoort, he wants to enjoy the last time in front of the home crowd, wanting to make them proud with a good result. “We rested and recharged our energy after the summer break, and I’m excited to start the race week in Zandvoort soon,” he said.

“It will be a special stage for me and the fans, as this is the last Dutch GP before the race leaves the calendar. I have many good memories here in Zandvoort; being able to race in front of the home crowd in recent years has been a privilege and one of the highlights of my career,” he continued.
“This week, I will race with a special helmet, whose design refers to the famous Delft blue pottery. It is a beautiful and very traditional pattern, something a bit more exclusive for this last race. The helmet is a tribute to the Dutch fans for their constant support over the years; therefore, we hope to make them proud this weekend,” he concluded.
