The Zandvoort circuit will be the first challenge of the second part of the championship. The category has not raced since the Hungarian GP, held on July 26, which ended a sequence of 11 rounds before the holidays.

The resumption happens at an important moment in the championship fight. Kimi Antonelli was one of the big names in the first half of the season with Mercedes, while Ferrari, Red Bull, and McLaren try to increase the pressure on the German team in the rest of the year. Gabriel Bortoleto also returns to the Audi cockpit after a first half marked by evolution and important results.
Zandvoort features one of the most unique layouts on the calendar. The track is narrow, has large elevation changes, and features banked corners that require specific car setups. The difficulty in overtaking makes Saturday’s qualifying especially important for the drivers’ chances on Sunday.
