Hamilton evaluated his Friday very positively: “It was a really good day. It’s great to be back on track and really start working. It’s amazing to be here. I feel extremely grateful to be able to do what I love and it’s incredible to see so many fans present today. It was challenging at times on track, but we maximized our laps and executed the work as best as possible, obtaining good information. There is a lot of work ahead, but I am looking forward to getting back in the car tomorrow,” said the Briton.

Leclerc, for his part, highlighted the learning from adjustments made during the day: “It was a positive start to the weekend. FP1 was consistent, and we tried a different setup in FP2 that didn’t work as expected, but it was a good learning experience. Little by little, we are starting to see all the teams revealing their true form, and I believe there is more to come, especially in the race. Tomorrow’s qualifying session should be quite balanced, and we will work hard to put ourselves in the best possible condition,” concluded the Monegasque driver.
