Formula 1 arrives this weekend at Hungaroring for the Hungarian Grand Prix, the 11th round of the 2026 season. The race will be held between July 24 and 26 and marks the last race before the traditional European summer break.

After a double-header started in Belgium, drivers and teams conclude the first part of the championship on a circuit with completely different characteristics from Spa-Francorchamps. If straight-line speed was decisive in Belgium, in Hungary the challenge becomes aerodynamic efficiency, cornering precision, and tire management.
The Hungaroring is 4.381 km long and is known for its tight and winding layout, formed by a sequence of low and medium-speed corners. The track offers few overtaking opportunities, making starting position and strategy fundamental factors for the race result.
In addition to the technical layout, high European summer temperatures usually increase tire wear and demand even more from the drivers over the 70 laps of the race.
