The FIA has released the official starting grid for the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix of Formula 1. Kimi Antonelli starts from pole position this Sunday, July 19, at Spa-Francorchamps, with Max Verstappen alongside him on the front row.

George Russell starts third and shares the second row with Charles Leclerc. Lewis Hamilton occupies fifth position, ahead of Oscar Piastri, while Gabriel Bortoleto starts the race in eighth with Audi.
Lando Norris, who had recorded the third-best time in qualifying, starts only 13th after receiving a ten-place penalty for changing power unit components beyond the allowed limit for the season. Carlos Sainz also lost ten places after installing a new electronic control unit and dropped to 19th position.

Lance Stroll appears in 20th, followed by Isack Hadjar and Fernando Alonso, who were also penalized for power unit component changes. As a result, the three occupy the last positions on the starting grid.
